Ya se ha completado la lista de películas que representarán a cada país para optar al Oscar a la mejor película de habla no inglesa. Un total de 65 películas lucharán para estar entre las cinco cintas finalistas que optarán a la estatuilla.
La representante española, 'El baile de la victoria' de Fernando Trueba, tendrá difíciles contrincantes la coreana 'Mother', la francesa 'Un profeta' o la alemana 'The White Ribbon', cintas que han destacado este año en el circuito de festivales. Esta última, dirigida por Michael Haneke, se hizo con la Palma de Oro en el último Festival de Cannes.
Las nominaciones se harán públicas el 2 de febrero del próximo año, y los premios se entregarán el 7 de marzo.
En España tendremos que esperar para analizar a la candidata española, ya que la cinta de Trueba no verá la luz hasta el próximo 4 de diciembre.
